Experienced Barista Needed - Full Time ONLY (ProspectHeights)

We’re Polly’s Cafe! We’re nestled in the heart of Brooklyn, located steps away from the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Prospect Park, and Grand Army Plaza Library. Our cozy cafe offers a warm and inviting atmosphere paired with exceptional coffee and delicious bites. With a focus on community and comfort, we provide a haven for locals and visitors alike to relax, recharge, and connect. We are currently looking to hire an experienced barista! We’re unable to hire anyone who is NOT an experienced barista. Requirements: -To be considered for the position, you must have at least 3 years specialty coffee experience (dialing-in espresso, texturing milk, pouring designs). In addition, you must be able to do some sandwich prep as well(minimally). -Must-Have Food Handlers Permit from NYC Dept. of Health. -Be able to work in a fast-paced environment while providing hospitable service. -Be able to take complete daily inventory and restock. -Must be kind, friendly and engaging. -Have to be dependable, reliable and actually want to work! -Able to communicate effective with customers and team members. -Have full time availability, incl. on weekends, and have closing availability as well! -Growth opportunities as we're in scaling fast!
