They oversee all FOH and BOH operations ensuring a great customer experience while maximizing sales and profitability through merchandise, inventory, cost control, ordering, shrinkage, and staffing. TO APPLY follow the link below: https://recruiting.paylocity.com/recruiting/jobs/Details/3661827/Rustic-Bakery-Inc/Cafe-Manager ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by upholding excellent standards. -Ensure food and health code standards are being met in both café and kitchen areas. -Responsible for weekly scheduling and payroll of all staff. -Maintain appropriate merchandise stock levels, presentations and assortment for the café retail display. -Manage all ordering for the café and maintain appropriate levels of product. -Maintain cafe staffing according to the business need; Place ads for needed new hires, screen and hire accordingly. -Train staff, including opening/closing procedures, money handling, product knowledge, food service standards and menu items. -Manage staff: assign, and direct work; provide performance feedback, address complaints and resolve problems. -Jump in to assist other employees (i.e. cashier, busser, cook, etc.) when necessary due to unexpected absence or extra volume. -Inform and educate Staff on new menu item launches and promos. -Ensure equipment is maintained and serviced; report any breakage or maintenance needs to your manager in a timely manner. -Train staff on safety and ensure all safety measures are followed. -Interface with Accounting, HR, and Safety Teams and keep all system data (Payroll, Safety, POS, etc.) up to date. -Other duties as assigned. SKILLS -Passion for creating a great customer service experience. -Ability to train and motivate staff in providing the best customer service and maintaining high standards. -Must be available to work varied schedule including weekends and holidays. -Understanding of financial reports and ability to adjust accordingly to meet targets. -Strong time management skills and accuracy to deal with a variety of duties and changing work environment. -Must work well with employees and guests, exercising tact and patience in all situations. -Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, in English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. EXPERIENCE -Experience with payroll systems (Paylocity) and POS systems (TOAST). -Previous food service management experience. -Basic knowledge of MS office suite, including Word and Excel.
