POSITION DETAILS: The recipient of this bartending position will work within our extensive food and beverage operation, encompassing both the Prime Steakhouse Grill 225 and the outdoor rooftop bar, the Pavilion Bar. Bartending staff members are required to be knowledgeable and versatile in all aspects of our food and beverage operation. The role involves training to serve in both Grill 225 and the hotel's special events department, offering exposure to maximize earning potential daily. Recipients of this position must have a strong desire to be guest-focused, with the ability to please and exceed guest expectations. Caring, friendly, and hospitable interactions with guests are paramount. POSITION IDEAL REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 2 years of experience as a bartender or server in a restaurant, bar, or resort environment. - Established work record with a demonstrated ability to have held a position with a previous employer for at least 1 full year. - Willingness to accept detailed structures, protocols, and procedures used by Grill 225 and the Pavilion Bar to ensure consistent and quality guest interactions. - Knowledge of wine and various types of liquors. Responsible for providing timely service by making cocktails and specialty drinks. - Guest services-driven, detail-oriented, warm, and amiable. Attention to detail and understanding of table service etiquette. COMPENSATION: Historically, our bartenders earn $75,000 - $125,000+ Annually for full-time staff members. The highest earning opportunity in the city, averaging $150 - $600+ per day. While gratuities vary, a capable bartender fostering caring, professional, and hospitable connections with guests can make earnings at the top of the hospitality spectrum in Charleston.
