Position Summary The AM Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch items according to Hilton Garden Inn brand standards. This position ensures high-quality food presentation, maintains cleanliness in the kitchen, and supports the culinary team in delivering an excellent guest dining experience. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items according to standardized recipes and portion controls. • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service begins. • Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner to meet guest expectations. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with health and safety standards. • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures at all times. • Assist with inventory control, minimizing food waste and ensuring freshness of all ingredients. • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations. • Report any maintenance or safety issues to management immediately. • Support the team in preparing for banquets, special events, or room service orders as needed. • Uphold Hilton’s brand standards and commitment to exceptional hospitality. Qualifications • Previous line cook or breakfast cook experience in a hotel or high-volume restaurant preferred. • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen equipment operation. • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required. • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive team-oriented attitude. • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. • Food Handler’s Certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
