Female Hula Dancer (BFOQ-Boni Fide Occupational Qualifications) Minimum age to apply is 16 yrs. old The ideal candidate for this position: • Passionate about Hula & Tahitian dance • Is enthusiastic about sharing hula, hospitality and Aloha Spirit with our guests • Can maintain a pleasant smile and demeanor throughout the shift • Shows Aloha to co-workers • Is able to maintain "on stage" presence throughout the shift • Embraces change • Has Aloha Aura • Willing to help and assist teammates to make the show fantastic • Is able to adapt and adjust to each dance number • Strives to improve and practice their dance • Has an interest and enthusiasm for the Hawaiian Culture • Is community minded Performance Characteristics: • Enthusiastic • Fast Learner • Retains Information • Strives for excellence • Team Player Performance Expectations: • Maintains a clean dressing area • Comes to work prepared with all items needed for the shift • Is able to put on stage make up according to the standards set by line captains and managers • Is able to perform all dances according to the standards set by line captains and managers • Prepares all costumes and accessories prior to show time • Treats customers and co-workers with courtesy and respect • Completes job duties as assigned by line captains & managers • Able to receive constructive criticism • Willing to practice each dance number to meet our standards of excellence • Attends all rehearsals, meetings and costume workshops when scheduled • Respects and cares for all communal implements, costumes and supplies provided by the company • Reports any broken or damaged costumes, supplies or implements to line captains or managers Our benefits package includes: 401(k) with up to 4% company match, Aflac, Flexible Spending, Flexible Schedule, Paid Time Off (after qualifying), Employee discounts and more.
