Assistant French Immersion Daycare (McLean)

Job Type: Full-time / Part Time Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour (with potential raises based on performance and experience) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Start Date: We're hiring now ! About Us: Galipette French Immersion Home Daycare is a licensed home-based childcare program located in McLean, Virginia. We offer a warm, nurturing, and fully French-speaking environment for children aged 16 months to 4 years. Our program focuses on early childhood development through play, structure, and full language immersion. Responsibilities: Care for and supervise children ages 16 months to 4 years Support daily routines including snacks, meals, diapering/potty training, nap time, and indoor/outdoor play Lead and participate in engaging, age-appropriate activities conducted entirely in French Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment Encourage developmental growth and language acquisition through play and structured activities Qualifications: French speaker preferred Experience working with young children preferred (daycare, preschool, babysitting, or similar) Warm, responsible, and patient demeanor Authorized to work in the United States CPR/First Aid certified or willingness to obtain.
