




We are an aftermarket manufacturer of air compressor components located in West Hempstead, NY. We are in need for an assistant bookkeeper to join our growing team. Responsibilities ● Handle accounts payable functions ● Handle accounts receivable functions and perform collections ● Process credit memo and return of materials ● Perform daily invoicing ● Assist with the monthly closing process ● Record cash receipts ● Assist with reconciliation ● Issue customer statements when requested ● Carry out other duties as required Requirements ● Around 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience ● Associate's degree preferred ● Familiarity with ERP software is a plus ● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships. ● Organized and able to meet deadlines with great attention to detail. ● Strong analytical, problem solving and multitasking skills Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Other Expected hours: 40 per week Position is not remote
