Accounts Payable Specialist We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who will be responsible for a variety of duties and ensure accurate and timely invoice and payment processing. The ideal candidate is a reliable motivated team member who is detail oriented, self-motivated, and works independently and with team members. Job Duties • Prepare and process vendor invoices including data entry, scanning, copying • Prepare payments – process vendor checks and ACH payments • Reconcile vendor statements • Resolve accounts payable questions and issues • Maintain department invoice files • Vendor 1099’s • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned • Ability to cross-train to build versatility and ensure smooth department operations • General Ledger knowledge and ability to make journal entries Skills and Qualifications • Understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with integrity • Strong time management and organizational skills. • Highly adaptive to new priorities, when applicable • Strong communication skills • Must be able to multi-task in fast-paced environment • Knowledge of Microsoft office - Excel • Sage 100 and QuickBooks knowledge • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (not required) Physical Requirement • Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods • Occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs.)
