We operate Nashville’s biggest and wildest party wagon, sightseeing buses and shuttle buses, but sometimes, stuff breaks! We are looking for an additional person to add to our team to assist in basic preventative maintenance such as oil and fluid changes and other basic preventative task. This can be a part-time or full-time position. We are looking for someone who is familiar with basic automotive maintenance and would be a perk if they also had experience in repairs, welding, plumbing and electrical work. We are looking for someone who is dependable and a self-starter. Job Responsibilities: Maintains service operations by inspecting and maintaining vehicles. Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles Completing preventive maintenance such as oil changes, tire replacement and changes, replacing filters, etc.. Maintains vehicle functional conditions by listening to operator complaints and/or issues, diagnosing failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, mostly 12V and 110v. Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs. Keeps shop equipment operating Maintains supplies Perform preventive maintenance Answering call for repairs. Qualifications: Lifting over 50 lbs. Dependability Persistence Time Management Self-Starter Problem Solving Able to multitask Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) Must be able to work various schedules. We are looking for an Equipment Yard Laborer/Driver to join our team. RDF Builders is proud to offer special training to our employees to help meet job requirements. This position is based in Seattle, Washington. You will be expected to perform your work by: - Maintaining and cleaning the equipment yard as necessary. Use walk-behind sweepers to clear away debris in main yard. - Pressure wash around the yard and buildings to remove accumulated moss and dirt. - Load and unload tools and equipment into trucks for delivery. Assist others in returning tools and equipment to designated locations. - Make delivery runs to multiple jobsites. May ride along on deliveries/pick-ups of equipment and materials when assistance is necessary. - Prepare equipment returned from jobsites for service. Clean equipment as necessary, pressure washing when required. - Work directly with mechanic to determine where equipment is to be staged while waiting for service. - Assist with cleanup of the yard and shop. Maintain an organized equipment storage warehouse without clutter, trip hazards, or any other potential safety issue. - Sweep equipment storage warehouse floor daily. - Assist with washing and detailing of delivery vehicles on a weekly basis. - Always work safe. Use personal protective equipment whenever necessary. - Work all required shifts. - Assists with problem solving - Other duties as assigned. - Reports in person, at the CEC Equipment Yard, with regular and reliable attendance; Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. *Please note that a vehicle will be provided during work hours for job tasks* You are qualified if: - You have a valid driver's license (required). - You are a high school graduate or equivalent. - You have the ability to read, write, and speak English. - You demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a team. - You have good organizational skills. - You demonstrate knowledge and compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
