We’re currently looking to fill two exciting roles: Painter Assistant – Great opportunity to learn and grow Painter Lead – Take charge and showcase your skills Schedule: Monday–Friday Pay: $25–$27/hour We’re looking for a skilled Painter Lead to oversee painting operations and ensure high-quality finishes on a variety of parts and assemblies. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with strong technical expertise and leadership experience in a paint shop environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead daily painting operations and support team members. Prepare surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and solvent treatments. Mask and protect surfaces before painting. Safely load/unload parts onto paint racks. Mix and apply primers and paints (gloss, semi-gloss, flat) per specifications. Operate spray equipment and curing ovens. Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality standards. Maintain paint booth equipment and ensure a clean, safe workspace. Promote continuous improvement and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications: 5–10 years of experience in a paint shop (aerospace or automotive preferred). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Skilled in mixing and applying various paint formulations. Ability to read blueprints and work order documentation. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Ability to pass respiratory fit and pulmonary function tests (if required). Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (with OT available) Pay: $18–$19/hour (DOE) Join our team as a Painter Assistant and help support high-quality paint operations in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and grow your skills alongside experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities: Assist with surface prep: sanding, scraping, washing, and masking. Set up and maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials. Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on painting equipment. Clean and organize the workspace and tools after use. Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE. Communicate effectively with the team to ensure timely, quality results. Track materials used and tasks completed accurately. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in painting or a related field is a plus, but not required. Basic understanding of painting tools and techniques. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Physically able to stand, crouch, and lift up to 40 lbs.
