Pettit Staffing is seeking skilled CNC Machinist/Operators to join our clients production team. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential. How to Apply: Send Resume to posting Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or routers) to produce precision components for food assembly equipment. Interpret and follow engineering blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and offsets to ensure quality and efficiency. Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications. Maintain accurate documentation of production runs, setup sheets, and inspection results. Qualifications 2+ years of experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment (preferably metal fabrication). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. Strong understanding of machining operations, cutting speeds, and feeds. Basic knowledge of G-code or CNC programming adjustments preferred.
