About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under-car repair services. In addition, to ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely completion of high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance, Service Managers must direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians and stage vehicle repair/maintenance work. While driving the sales initiatives of Mavis, Service Managers must communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, ensure customers are satisfied with their in-store experience and strive to meet customer expectations. Position responsibilities will include but are not limited to: -Prepare estimates for commercial work pertaining to brick, block, stone, and stucco using plan sets and/or commercially available online takeoff tools. -Be responsible for working with subcontractors and suppliers during the bid process in order to obtain complete bid package information. -Prepare accurate bid proposals and propose them to the general contractors. -Review the project documents for value engineering suggestions. -Work with the Estimating Team and the Client to review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate. -Must be able to work with Project Manager and company owner to ensure that projects are kept on schedule and on budget. -Ensure all working documents and data are maintained to back-up estimate figures with bid estimating team. -Applicants must have the ability to take initiative and work independently while also collaborating in a team environment. -Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills used in working with the internal team, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
