Responsibilities Structural Bridge Engineer on major projects Prepare detailed plans and construction documents for the assigned task Perform engineering calculations pertaining to and in support of the detailed plans and construction documents developed Develop contract specifications and contract bid documents, and technical report writing Occasional field site visits Perform structural tasks at the direction of the Project Engineer/Discipline Lead and/or perform the Project Engineer/Discipline Lead duties, contingent on experience Requirements BS in Civil Engineering, MS in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred Five to 15 years of Structural Engineering experience with a focus on bridge design preferred Colorado PE (or ability to achieve within six months) required (OR, WA and/or CA PE or SE) preferred Experience in conceptual, preliminary, and final design and plan production of bridge projects following Federal, State, and local standards, in particular, FHWA-FL, NPS, CDOT, CCD, and Colorado Springs. Experience in CA, WA, or OR considered a plus. Experience with complex concrete and/or movable bridges is a plus Bridge rating experience and/or inspection experience (preferred) Experience with current AASHTO design specifications, design procedures, bridge standards and details, and structural computer models Experience in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD; experience with current Bridge Analysis/Design and FEM software (preferred) Experiencing working effectively as part of a design team Experience with local client base preferable Excellent verbal and written communication skills Benefits Salary range – $105,000 – $170,000 annually. We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Engineer to evaluate and optimize natural gas gathering pipeline systems. This role focuses on steady-state and transient flow modeling in both single- and multi-phase regimes, using advanced tools such as DNV Synergi (SPS), Gregg Engineering NextGen, OLGA, Multiflash, and Pipesim. You will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, supporting capacity optimization, and driving commercial development through scenario modeling and analysis. This position also involves mentoring operations engineers, providing peer reviews, and serving as a technical partner to commercial and business development teams. The ideal candidate combines technical depth with strong communication skills to deliver clear, actionable insights under tight timelines. Key Responsibilities Perform hydraulic analysis and provide technical direction on natural gas and liquids gathering pipelines. Build, configure, and maintain hydraulic models in Synergi, NextGen, OLGA, Multiflash, and Pipesim. Compare model performance against operating data to identify gaps and recommend improvements. Support commercial/business development by modeling potential acquisitions and expansion projects. Conduct front-end hydraulic studies for new projects and participate in incident investigations.
