JUXT Taphouse is on the lookout for an experienced, hard-working cook to add to our already fantastic kitchen team. All candidates must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable. Must also be able to multitask and thrive in fast-paced environments. This position will likely include all aspects of the back of house (prep, cooking, dishwashing, etc). As a Butcher at The Local General Store, you will be at the cutting edge of whole animal butchery in Hawaii. You will work with whole carcass beef, pork, venison, lamb, and chicken from local ranchers. What You'll Do As a Freight Farmer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Freight Farm container farms. This is a hands-on role where you will be directly involved in all stages of the growing process, from seeding to harvest. Your responsibilities will include: Planting and harvesting: Seeding, transplanting, and harvesting a variety of leafy greens, herbs, and other crops. Monitoring crop health: Regularly checking for pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies. System maintenance: Performing routine cleaning and maintenance of the hydroponic systems and equipment. Data logging: Recording important growing data, including pH, EC (electrical conductivity), and temperature.
