CDL DRIVER Colorado State University An Hourly LRAM Commercial Driver (CDL) position is available at Pohakuloa Training Area, HI with Colorado State University (CSU) and the Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML). The position is located at Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA), HI. The position will provide Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance (LRAM) support for US Army Garrison (USAG) Hawaii at PTA. This position will operate wheeled loader, dump trucks and water trucks for the purpose of completing LRAM projects. Primary functions are soil stabilization and vegetation management on Army lands. This position will also require operational maintenance and inspections of all equipment for operational readiness and safety, tracking and preparing weekly progress reports. Work will be on-site at PTA, Hawaii. Experience required includes: Ability to work in-person at PTA HI; High school Diploma, GED, or equivalent; Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A; 2 Years experience with running and maintaining heavy equipment; Ability to work outdoors and perform strenuous labor under all weather conditions (e.g., heat and humidity, rain); Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly without assistance; Ability to follow directions, work collectively with others as a team, and maintain safe working standards; Proficient verbal and written English communication skills; and The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. by proposed start date; CEMML will not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
