To do well in this position, you will need to be physically fit enough to remain standing for most of the day. You should also be mechanically skilled enough to use hand tools in whatever ways your tasks for the day require you to do. You will also be required to shave any facial hair for a respirator fit test and for the yearly test afterwards. Laborer’s duties include working with power tools, wood and metal materials, maintaining a clean work environment, general shop and yard maintenance, assisting in heavy equipment, truck/trailer maintenance, shipping and receiving goods, and proper execution of daily documents. Forklift, loader, and WELDING experience would be an asset and we are willing to train for other positions. Duties and Responsibilities • Construction Industry experience is preferred. • Knowledge of foundation repair and applying surface coatings is preferred • Experience in grinding concrete, cutting concrete, and breaking concrete a plus. • Install epoxies and other liquid products on foundation walls, floors, and other larger flat surfaces. • Climb ladders, dig using hand tools and mini excavator, and haul material. • Painting, paint prep including sanding, caulking, and priming. • Work in confined areas such as crawl spaces. • Operate paint pumps. • Basic carpentry for forms and finishing. • Communicate with the Project Manager on progress at the job site. • Keep clean and organized job sites. • Maintain good working relationships with all company employees.
