The Station Chef aids the Kitchen Leadership team in daily operations. Station Chefs assist in the kitchens, cooking, prepping, ensuring the kitchens are stocked, FIFO, and the team is set up for success. This role requires a self-starter work ethic, the ability to work well independently and as part of a team, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for food service and food safety. The Station Chef communicates regularly with Kitchen Leadership and is active in the continuous improvement process. This role also requires that you can work and know the ins and outs of all Fort George food service and cooking lines. This non-managerial role does not have the authority to hire, fire, make decisions for recruitment, terminations, performance reviews, or any other terms & conditions of employment. Varying schedule to include weekends, evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates. Essential Functions: Routinely work all hourly BOH roles as business and staffing are needed or directed by Kitchen Leadership.
