IN A NUTSHELL: This is a full time hourly position, joining the back-of-house team of our Wise Sons Deli in the Mission, reporting to the Kitchen Manager. Schedule (at the moment) Friday through Tuesday 2:30pm-9:00pm. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years experience working in professional kitchens, is passionate about food and cooking, and believes in giving guests the best experience possible. Line cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking all menu items and specials offered at their specific unit. Other responsibilities include executing catering orders, washing dishes, food prep, and maintaining a clean and organized work space. Teamwork is crucial to our organization and line cooks are expected to jump in wherever necessary to get the job done. This may mean working expo, bussing tables, or mopping the walk-in refrigerator.
