PART TIME: SUNDAYS (10am-5pm) and MONDAYS (9am-6pm); $17.50/hour to start PLUS commissions and bonus programs. Also, must be able to fill in for manager's vacations with advance notice. Quality Inspector We have immediate need of Quality Inspectors for a metal manufacturing company located in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Company is one of the leading manufacturer producing top-of-the-line metal products. Anything from metal stamping, laser cutting, wiring, coils and any other fabrication. This position is temp to hire for the right candidate. Schedule: Monday- Friday (Saturdays when needed) Shift: 7am-3:30pm (possible time base on production needs) Pay: $20.00-$25.00 based on experience Position Overview Tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process to ensure the quality of the product is maintained throughout. Provides input on day to day issues and works with manufacturing to resolve discrepancies. Primary Job Functions Understand procedures related to the Quality department Read BLUEPRINTS Conduct quality inspections of produced products and materials Complete hand on hand inspections Use calipers, Micrometers and comparators Assist with the processing of any rework orders as needed Other duties can be assigned Requirements Preferably 1 year experience utilizing Quality Control practices Must be able to lift up to 25-50 pounds.
