Commercial roofing company seeking service/maintenance foreman and foreman’s helper to assist with roof repairs and maintenance. Roofing experience is a plus but not required. Willing to train motivated person for long term/full time employment. 95% of the work is NOT labor-intensive and performed on fairly flat roof surfaces. Applicant must be dependable. The fleet mechanic at JC Grounds Management is a dynamic role that requires a very broad base of technical knowledge. In this integral position, you will oversee the preventative maintenance and repair of our growing fleet of trucks and equipment. Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs vehicles and equipment onsite and offsite. 100% participation during snow events, required overtime to be worked. Complete work orders with start and end times, also noting all parts and all work done on each part of equipment repaired. Keep garage, yard and facility organized and clean at all times. Provide training to technicians in the safe and proficient use of equipment. Qualifications Valid Driver's license and clean driving record. Hoisting license (Class 2A) or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire on date. 5 years prior experience in a commercial garage / shop environment. Basic computer skills. Ability to work independently. Compensation Hourly pay ranging from $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience. Hourly pay during active snow events ranging from $40.00-$50.00 per hour, based on experience.
