IRI is a multi-service agency providing services, in the state of New York, such as: • Residential services • Social services • Family support services • Day habilitation services • Home and community based waiver services Seeking the following: • Direct Support Professional- $16.60/Hr. (Driver license preferred NOT required) • Hours offered: 30-40 hours per week Direct Support Professional is responsible for assisting individuals with developmental disabilities and/or other impairments to live as independently as possible within the community. Strong communication skills to work effectively with the people IRI supports, families, co-workers and within the community; ability to problem-solve and evidence good judgment in implementing plans of service. This position requires: • AMAP, SCIP-R and Standard First Aid/CPR certification. • Ability to become certified in AMAP, SCIP-R. • Standard First Aid /CPR.
