5 Corners Kitchen in Marblehead, MA is currently looking for a server/bartender hybrid to round out our excellent front of house team. Ideal applicants will have a friendly and charismatic demeanor while presenting themselves in a professional way, be very hard-working (constantly moving!), efficient and have a passion for bistro food, wine, cocktails and hospitality. We are looking for open/flexible availability. Ideal candidates will work 2-4 shifts a week. The start time is around 3pm and you can expect to be heading home around 10:30-11pm. Dinner service 5-9pm Monday - Saturday. WE ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS (including Easter and Mother's Day) Main Requirements: - At least 2 years fine dining or busy bistro experience - At least 1-2 years of craft cocktail experience + strong wine knowledge - Experience working behind a bar that is an extension of a dining room with full dinner menu served - Charming, engaging, professional and enthusiastic about the hospitality industry - Highly organized and detail-oriented - Quick on your feet, efficient, and able to multi-task - we are a BUSY restaurant - A team player - no job is too big or small at 5CK (nobody in the building is allowed to say "that's not my job") - Available to work nights, weekends, and some holidays - Able to lift 30 pounds and stand on your feet for 7-8 hours at a time What we offer: • Company sponsored Medical / Dental insurance after 30 days of employment for anyone working 30+ hours/week (5CK pays 50%) • 50% discount at 5 Corners Kitchen • A pooled house
