  1 Resource Group is currently looking for a Terminal Operator to join our client team in Baytown, TX. As a Terminal Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of products at our terminal facility. The ideal candidates will be responsible for all operations involving the storage, blending, and transloading of products to and from ISO containers, tank trucks, and railcars. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Other duties may be assigned. Complete the loading and unloading of railcars from/to ISO containers and trailers as well as product transfers between railcars. Operate a steam boiler and air compressor to provide steam for heating ISO containers and railcars and compressed air for pressuring ISO containers and railcars for product transfers.  Complete tank truck transloading paperwork and collect retain samples for bulk loads. Inspect railcars hoses and other equipment for leaks, spills, or other problems.   Make sure that all equipment is in good working order. Hook up hoses from product sources to the automated drum line connections.  Assist with the drumming of products using the automated drum line.  Hook up hoses from product sources and assist with the loading of products into totes. Operate forklift or other machinery to move material to appropriate locations.  Maintain a clean and safe work environment, return all tools to their appropriate storage locations, wear proper safety gear at all times, and follow company safety policies and procedures, and encourage other employees to do the same.  Perform other duties as assigned.  QUALIFICATIONS - The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School Diploma or GED required. Three to five years of experience in loading/unloading operations is preferred. Good mechanical aptitude is a must. Previous boiler experience and experience in a chemical environment is preferred. Handling of hot steam hoses. Employees are regularly required to stoop, crouch and climb, walk on multiple surface types such as rocks, concrete and grading.   Must be able to work outside with regular exposure to factors such as hot & cold temperature and moving machinery, which cause a moderate risk of accident or illness. This person will collaborate extensively with the Distribution Center Manager and Distribution Center Coordinator to maintain inventory integrity, system alignment, and compliance.
