The History: Super Soccer Stars has been in the youth soccer business for over 22 years and have been recognized as the largest operating program in the US. The Position: You will lead our athletes in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety for all. The ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader), and enjoys working with children. This position is excellent for someone who has an interest in pursuing early childhood education, or child development. The Schedule: The majority of classes are held during the after school hours and on weekends. The ideal candidate would have the availability on some of the days and times listed below: Monday-Friday (Times): 10:00-4:00 Weekends: (Times) 9:00-12:00 New Coaches can work *5-25 classes a week The Location: Classes are held across schools, parks, and recreational centers. Coaches are expected to travel up to 25-30 minutes to get to a class location. Requirements Ability to provide individual attention to a small class to ensure every child feels included Ability to foster a non-competitive environment to ensure classes are fun and stress-free Remain calm and use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success Enjoy people around kids and their energy Have an open-mind and know that coaching is a continuous journey. We are a small boutique agency based in Burbank but work remotely from home since we only do zoom and google meets interviews after Covid. There may be in person meetings at times and trips to see clients who are based within the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles areas. Below are the duties: • First person to answer the phone • Running ads in Indeed, Craigslist, and LinkedIn, etc. for jobs • Checking emails and reviewing resumes to call on a daily basis • Administer application via email to candidates then doing onboarding paperwork when hired • Input applications into our CRM system accurately • Collecting everyone’s timecards weekly and input into Excel spreadsheet (MUST KNOW EXCEL) • Keeping up with LinkedIn and other social media for updates on Staff Connection, Inc. • Conducting face-to-face zoom interviews and taking notes • Calling inactive accounts to see if they can be reactivated • Helping with accounts receivable when necessary Plus, other duties as assigned but mainly what you see above In order to be successful in this position besides the above experience, you have to be humble, service minded, very friendly yet professional. Must have excellent command of the English language and good with numbers and be computer savvy. We will train on policies and procedures of the position, but not train for a recruiter, you need to have experience doing full cycle recruiting. This is strictly an hourly position with some flexibility and bonuses can be discussed if an old client is revived or new business is brought in. Most employees who are good at their jobs do make bonus and this can hike up your pay significantly. Candidates should have availability during the hours listed below: Saturdays: 9am-12pm Weekdays: 4pm-5:30pm (optional) THE PAY: Support Coaches will be paid $20 per/class, and classes typically run 40-minutes long. On weekends we have 3-4 classes stacked in a row in our various locations. Additionally, we pay a $10 per/day travel stipend for coaches that commute out of their home city for weekend classes. THE LOCATION: Classes will be held at local recreational centers in Novato, San Rafael, Petaluma and other areas of Marin and Sonoma Counties. About Amazing Athletes: At Amazing Athletes, we believe in the power of sports to teach important life skills, promote physical fitness, and instill confidence in children. Our comprehensive classes introduce 10 different sports, including basketball, soccer, baseball, and more, while also focusing on basic nutrition, muscle groups, and essential motor skills.
