Position: Truck Driver (Livestock Transport) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of driving experience, particularly in livestock transportation. Proficiency in loading cattle into trailers is essential; however, if you lack this skill, we are willing to provide training for the right individual who demonstrates a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities: - Safely load and transport cattle. - Follow designated routes, typically ensuring home time every other night. - Maintain cleanliness and care for the vehicle. - Adhere to a strictly no-smoking policy within the truck. Compensation is competitive, at $0.50 per mile both loaded and unloaded, reflecting our commitment to rewarding skilled drivers. We are looking for a responsible and self-motivated individual who understands the serious nature of this work. Given the inherent risks involved in transporting livestock, we require someone who can operate independently and does not need constant supervision.
