Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities Follow written procedures and work instructions Any other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor Skills and Experience You’ll Need as a Quality Assurance Technician 2 – Testing & QMS: High school diploma or GED required Associates degree in a technical field or 2 years technical training and 2 years related experience in any of the following areas: machine shop, mechanical assembly, optical assembly, and/or optical systems and components required.  Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Good written and verbal communication skills required User knowledge of Microsoft computer software products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) required. Engage in root cause analysis for defects and collaborate with teams to implement effective solutions. Support the Quality Assurance team in compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of quality assurance processes and products. Must be able to work 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM - Monday - Thursday Requirements Education and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role preferably in manufacturing. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with quality control standards and methodologies. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Capacity to work independently as well as in a team environment. Flexibility to work on both shifts as required. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software. Experience with Oracle database systems is an asset.
