Description

Join New Flyer as a CNC Programmer and play a pivotal role in our manufacturing process. In this position, you will be tasked with developing CNC programs and operating advanced CNC machinery to create precision components for our innovative bus manufacturing processes. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to quality and efficiency. Write and optimize CNC programs using advanced CAD/CAM software to ensure the efficient production of parts. Set up and calibrate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and routers, according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine necessary machining steps. Select appropriate tooling and fixtures to enhance production quality and efficiency. Monitor production processes for accuracy, performing adjustments and troubleshooting as required. Conduct inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of output. Collaborate with engineers to refine designs and improve manufacturability. Maintain detailed documentation related to machine settings, maintenance logs, and production reports. Foster a safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and practices. Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software (MasterCam preferred) and G-code programming. In-depth knowledge of CNC machining processes, tools, and materials. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents. Experience with CNC machine setup, operation, and maintenance. Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills. Excellent mathematical capabilities and technical aptitude. Capable of working effectively in a team and communicating with cross-functional teams. Commitment to adhering to safety standards and protocols in the workplace. We are hiring a Seasonal Production Associate to support the jewelry production team to clean, engrave and transport finished jewelry pieces.  The seasonal associate will be expected to work with a strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.     Responsibilities:  Support the factory by cleaning finished jewelry pieces according to factory instructions and specifications.  Transport finished jewelry pieces to and from departments including QA, polishing, stone setting and repairs.  Help with collecting and distributing work throughout the factory and conveying information across teams as needed.  Engrave finished jewelry using the laser engraver for necessary engravings    Base pay $17.00 - $18.50 hourly. Graphics Operator, Live Events - part-time
Bon Secours Wellness Arena is in search of a skilled part-time Graphics Operator for Live Events who will play a crucial role in enhancing our event productions. This position involves operating graphics systems to ensure that visual elements are displayed seamlessly during various live events, including sports contests, concerts, and community gatherings. Key Responsibilities As a Graphics Operator, you will be an integral part of the live event production crew, working in both the broadcast control room and the arena to bring our events to life. Manage and oversee the quality control of all digital signage content, including ribbons, scoreboards, and other visual installations. Operate and maintain graphics systems to display content accurately and effectively, following direction from the Show Producer or Technical Director. Collaborate effectively with the Technical Director, Video Engineer, and Show Director to coordinate the timely display of graphics during events. Prepare and organize media content for digital displays in advance of live events. Conduct tests and rehearsals on control room systems prior to major events to ensure optimal performance. Ensure accurate tracking and fulfillment of sponsored content and advertising assets. Archive footage from live events and respond to footage requests as needed. Diligently monitor and troubleshoot graphics systems to address any issues during live productions.
