Backup & Archiving: Restore and archive digital files to LTO for backup and ensure they are posted to production servers when required. Requirements Qualifications Skills & Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. Command-line a plus. Experience with Aspera P2P, Aspera Faspex, Aspera Dropbox, Signiant, FTP, and other file transfer protocols. Familiarity with physical media formats (e.g., drives, tapes, LTO, LTFS) and digital asset management. Experience working with network storage and remoting into computers. Understanding of computer networks, including DMZ, VPNs, and firewalls. Basic knowledge of media formats, metadata, XML, audio/video codecs, and their role in data management. Experience: 1+ years in a data operations, IT, or media environment (preferred). Experience with digital asset management and file transfer protocols is a plus. Experience in live or quick-turnaround production environments. Education: Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
