Read and interpret blueprints. Assemble, fabricate, install, test ship piping systems, and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints. Work may be on new construction or in ship repair. Requirements Must have a minimum of 5 years of marine pipefitting experience. Must have silver brazing experience: Braze Copper Nickel, Carbon , Copper/Copper Solid understanding of shipbuilding and/or manufacturing processes. Need to be able to work with different piping systems. Must be able to pass 1st Class Pipe Fitter Written and Physical Assessments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to read blueprints. We’re looking for a Truck Upfitting & Fabrication Technician to join our fabrication department. This is a hands-on shop position where you’ll be fabricating and installing custom equipment, wiring electrical systems, and keeping our trucks ready for any job. Responsibilities • Fabricate custom truck accessories (ladder racks, vice stands, storage solutions, etc.) • Operate shop equipment: ironworker, press brake, plasma table, bandsaw • Wire and install GPS units, strobe/flood/tail lights, and other 12V components • Install inverters, fuel transfer pumps, air compressors, and hose reels • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards • Work with the team to problem-solve and complete projects on time Qualifications Required: • Fabrication or metalworking experience • Basic wiring/electrical knowledge (12V systems) • Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety awareness Preferred: • MIG welding experience • Previous fleet/truck upfitting experience
