TRP is seeking a Pavement Markings Operator to become part of our Highway Striping Team, and to share our Core Values of increasing road safety of the traveling public and delivering the highest level of precision and excellence. Job Responsibilities: ·       Work with highway striping crew to install thermoplastic, waterborne paint and other pavement marking materials. ·       Perform and complete all work in compliance with DOT and quality guidelines, while maximizing production. ·       Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. ·       Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms, and ensure equipment is in working order. ·       Perform maintenance and repair of equipment. ·       Properly load material on trucks. ·       Maintain proper safety equipment and uniform required for each job. You will be trained to operate different types of equipment, including: Thermoplastic Truck, Paint Truck, Hand Machines, Hand Grinder, Forklift, 3M Hand-Tape Machine, 3M Adhesive Applicator and Hand Roller Tamper Cart. Requirements Qualifications: ·       Self-starter with a strong work ethic. ·       Previous experience in pavement marking, highway construction, asphalt paving, or a related field, is a plus. ·       Must pass pre-employment background checks for criminal record, driving record, and controlled substance/drug testing. ·       Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record, a CDL license is preferred. ·       Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations. ·       Carry out simple arithmetic functions. ·       Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and experience working with mechanics. ·       Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology, including smart phones and applications. ·       Ability to adjust to changing work schedule. Physical Requirements: ·       Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds to 100 pounds. ·       Occasionally lift and move more than 100 pounds. ·       Regular exposure to outside weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, fumes, and airborne particles. ·       Noise level of the work environment is moderate to loud. Availability: ·       Monday – Friday. ·       Must be able to work some nights and weekends. ·       Must be able to work overtime. ·       Must be able to travel when necessary. Key Responsibilities: RV Movement & Equipment Operation Safely move RVs of various sizes around the dealership property, including service bays, storage areas, and PDI locations. Transport RVs to designated locations for cleaning, inspections, photography, and staging. Utilize tractors and forklifts as necessary to relocate units safely and efficiently. Lot & Inventory Organization Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot and company property. Assist with staging and organizing RVs for service work based on daily work lists. Ensure all units are positioned properly and securely when parked or staged. Support Operations & Workflow Follow daily work assignments and complete tasks in a timely, organized manner. Communicate with the Service Manager and other team members to coordinate movement priorities. Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of outdoor workspaces. Safety & Compliance Operate all equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations. Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly. Trail Construction Operator
The Trail Construction Operator is a construction-based, non-exempt, hourly paid position responsible for assisting IMBA Trail Solutions (TS) with mountain bike trail construction and operational duties. Work includes physical labor, the use of hand tools, heavy equipment operations, tool and equipment maintenance/repair, and executing projects within the outlined scope of work. A Trail Construction Operator works with the TS Director of Construction and Operations, TS Construction Manager, Project Managers, TS staff, and subcontractors. The position assumes a variable schedule depending on workload, from 0 - 50+ hours per week, 7 days a week depending on project schedules, weather and other variables. A typical work week is Mon-Fri, 45 hours a week. Extensive travel is required. While traveling lodging, ME&I and mileage are covered at or near GSA rates. LOCATION: The Trail Construction Operator position is a remote home-based position requiring extended travel throughout the United States. COMPENSATION: The Trail Construction Operator position has an hourly rate of $23 - $34 per hour. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Project Execution: Ability to operate heavy equipment in a variety of terrain with the primary machine being excavators. Ability to conduct 45 - 50+ hours manual labor per week. Ability to construct sustainable and creative mountain biking tails. Design and construct trail and features per specifications and client expectations. Ability to take written and verbal direction from IMBA TS Management staff, Trail Solutions staff, and clients to complete project goals. Experience working in a team environment. Strong communication (written and verbal) skills. Personable and able to work within a customer service based environment. Ability to work outdoors for long hours performing physical labor. Possess a strong attention to detail. Familiar with small engine and tool preventative maintenance techniques. Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
