Overview: The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of recreational vehicles (RVs) throughout the dealership property. This includes relocating units to service bays, cleaning stations, photo areas, and storage lots. The ideal candidate has experience operating tractors, forklifts, and similar equipment and is committed to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Key Responsibilities: RV Movement & Equipment Operation Safely move RVs of various sizes around the dealership property, including service bays, storage areas, and PDI locations. Transport RVs to designated locations for cleaning, inspections, photography, and staging. Utilize tractors and forklifts as necessary to relocate units safely and efficiently. Lot & Inventory Organization Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot and company property. Assist with staging and organizing RVs for service work based on daily work lists. Ensure all units are positioned properly and securely when parked or staged. Support Operations & Workflow Follow daily work assignments and complete tasks in a timely, organized manner. Communicate with the Service Manager and other team members to coordinate movement priorities. Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of outdoor workspaces. Safety & Compliance Operate all equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations. Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly. Participate in ongoing safety training and follow all workplace safety procedures. Other Duties Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by the Service Manager. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Forklift and tractor operation experience required. Ability to work in fast-paced, outdoor environments and under varied weather conditions. Comfortable working weekends and standing or walking for extended periods. Strong multitasking and time-management skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to climb ladders and steps safely. Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, 15 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must have close vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work in an un-climate-controlled outdoor environment for extended periods. The Trail Construction Operator is a construction-based, non-exempt, hourly paid position responsible for assisting IMBA Trail Solutions (TS) with mountain bike trail construction and operational duties. Work includes physical labor, the use of hand tools, heavy equipment operations, tool and equipment maintenance/repair, and executing projects within the outlined scope of work. A Trail Construction Operator works with the TS Director of Construction and Operations, TS Construction Manager, Project Managers, TS staff, and subcontractors. The position assumes a variable schedule depending on workload, from 0 - 50+ hours per week, 7 days a week depending on project schedules, weather and other variables. A typical work week is Mon-Fri, 45 hours a week. Extensive travel is required. While traveling lodging, ME&I and mileage are covered at or near GSA rates. LOCATION: The Trail Construction Operator position is a remote home-based position requiring extended travel throughout the United States. COMPENSATION: The Trail Construction Operator position has an hourly rate of $23 - $34 per hour. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Project Execution: Ability to operate heavy equipment in a variety of terrain with the primary machine being excavators. Ability to conduct 45 - 50+ hours manual labor per week. Ability to construct sustainable and creative mountain biking tails. Design and construct trail and features per specifications and client expectations. Provide TS Director of Construction and Operations, TS Construction Manager, and TS Project Managers with project status updates. Perform and inspect work for compliance with terms and specifications of contract. Purchase and ensure materials are on-site as needed. Work in a variety of situations including remote and urban trail construction. Ability to travel for prolonged periods of time while scheduled on projects. Personnel: Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Support other TS staff in the completion of duties. Business Development: Maintain positive and professional representation of IMBA at all times. Administration: Assist with collecting trail data including billable units and trail length and reporting them accurately in daily logs. Requirements Experience with heavy equipment operations; Specifically, excavators, bulldozers and track loaders with 1000 hours experience preferred. Experience in the mountain biking and cycling industry preferred. Intermediate to advanced MTB riding skills including the ability to ride technical trails or jump trails preferred. Experience with the trail construction and trail maintenance preferred. Ability to take written and verbal direction from IMBA TS Management staff, Trail Solutions staff, and clients to complete project goals. Experience working in a team environment. Strong communication (written and verbal) skills. Personable and able to work within a customer service based environment. Ability to work outdoors for long hours performing physical labor. Possess a strong attention to detail. Familiar with small engine and tool preventative maintenance techniques. Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Full Time Experienced RV Equipment Operators can make up to $20.00/hr. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The ideal candidate will safely move large recreational vehicles around our property. The recreational vehicles will be moved in and out of service bays, onto storage lots, etc. The primary duties and responsibilities for this position includes the following: Move RV's to PDI locations. Move RV's to cleaning location or others sites. Stage all RV's that need to be worked on. Always have six RV's staged. Once a trailer is listed as complete on the board, move to delivery location for driver. Work with technicians and drivers for completed work flow. Other duties as assigned.
