Job Responsibilities: ·       Work with highway striping crew to install thermoplastic, waterborne paint and other pavement marking materials. ·       Perform and complete all work in compliance with DOT and quality guidelines, while maximizing production. ·       Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. ·       Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms, and ensure equipment is in working order. ·       Perform maintenance and repair of equipment. ·       Properly load material on trucks. ·       Maintain proper safety equipment and uniform required for each job. You will be trained to operate different types of equipment, including: Thermoplastic Truck, Paint Truck, Hand Machines, Hand Grinder, Forklift, 3M Hand-Tape Machine, 3M Adhesive Applicator and Hand Roller Tamper Cart. Requirements Qualifications: ·       Self-starter with a strong work ethic. ·       Previous experience in pavement marking, highway construction, asphalt paving, or a related field, is a plus. ·       Must pass pre-employment background checks for criminal record, driving record, and controlled substance/drug testing. ·       Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record, a CDL license is preferred. ·       Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations. ·       Carry out simple arithmetic functions. ·       Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and experience working with mechanics. ·       Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology, including smart phones and applications. ·       Ability to adjust to changing work schedule. Physical Requirements: ·       Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds to 100 pounds. ·       Occasionally lift and move more than 100 pounds. ·       Regular exposure to outside weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, fumes, and airborne particles. ·       Noise level of the work environment is moderate to loud. Accounting Leadership & Team Management: • Oversee functions of the accounting department, including financial reporting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. • Support audit preparation and liaise with external auditors, banking relationships, accounting firms, etc. • Ensure the timely and accurate closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. • Streamline accounting procedures and implement new systems to improve efficiency and enhance internal controls. • Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs. Profitability & Performance Management: •Monitor and enforce profitability benchmarks and contribution margin levels across all departments. • Conduct regular reviews with department heads to analyze performance and develop strategies for improvement. • Partner closely with the operations team, including Category Managers, to provide data-driven insights that inform assortment and promotional strategies. • Develop and distribute regular performance reports to Category Managers, highlighting key trends and insights to support data-driven decision-making. • Collaborate with operations to evaluate and forecast the financial viability of future initiatives, including new item launches, category expansions, and other strategic projects. •Analyze pricing, cost, and margin management to ensure the pricing and category management teams are achieving company expectations. • Ensure the company achieves its quarterly and annual EBITDA targets through proactive analysis and course correction. •Present findings and strategic recommendations to the executive team in a clear and compelling manner. Strategic Partnership: • Serve as a key strategic partner to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and other executive leaders. • Collaborate with the CFO on developing long-term financial strategies, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts. • Provide financial insights and guidance on major business decisions, including pricing strategies, capital investments, and operational changes. Qualifications and Skills: Experience: • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting. • At least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role. •Crucial: Significant experience within the retail or grocery industry is required. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA or MBA is highly preferred. Technical Skills: • Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; basic proficiency in SQL desired but advanced proficiency is highly desirable • Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools Leadership & Soft Skills: • Proven ability to lead and develop a team. •Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams. • A strategic mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture while maintaining a strong attention to detail. Hydrovac Excavation is a non-destructive method of excavating as an alternative to mechanical equipment or hand-digging. Hydrovacs use pressurized water and a vacuum system to quickly, safely, precisely and cleanly excavate around utilities, pipelines and numerous other applications. MUST HAVE A MINIMUM CLASS “B” CDL LICENSE WITH TANKER ENDORSEMENT and CLEAN DRIVING RECORD. Key Responsibilities Seventy percent or more of the job’s work time is spent operating the on-board hydro-vacuum system outside the truck performing non-destructive excavation around sensitive underground piping and cables. Other Hydrovac work consists of cleaning and vacuuming, mobilization of equipment, truck maintenance, safety meetings, etc. Heavy lifting at times is required. Working at heights are sometimes required The job requires typical construction type hours with some weeks being less than 40 hours and other weeks very busy requiring 50 plus hours. Requirements MUST HAVE A MINIMUM CLASS “B” CDL LICENSE WITH TANKER ENDORSEMENT and CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
