PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Material handler is responsible for safe handling of materials and goods. Primary job functions are kitting work orders, prepping parts, handing inventory, cycle counting inventory and other tasks as needed. Below is a list of some that you will learn: o Automated parts retrieval systems o X-Ray parts counting system What you will learn: The person taking the role of a Material Handler will learn all aspects of the department from receiving to kitting and releasing WO’s to the production floor. The many systems include Aptean ERP system, using Access databases daily to perform job duties, Microsoft Excel and Outlook. You will also learn to use our new and advanced technology storage systems such as Juki, Modula and Visiconsult X-ray parts counter. Not only will you learn to use the machine you will get an understanding of how all the systems work together.
