Cuts steel stock to correct length and measurements. Reads and interprets basic blueprints Completes daily stock inventory reports Orders and maintains proper inventory levels of materials Unload raw materials from semi-trucks and store material Uses hydraulic press for bending of material as appropriate Maintains equipment and ensures work area is clean and safe at all times Performs basic preventative maintenance on saw equipment Assures compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, State and local codes, OSHA regulations and requirements Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Operates over head crane and use of forklift Requirements Job Requirements Must pass background check and drug screening requirements Familiar with basic hand tools, including using proper methods for safe saw operations Knowledgeable in Lock-out/Tag-out procedures. Ability to work both independently and within a team Mechanically inclined. Prioritize, schedule, and review work. Effectively and safely operate a variety of assigned tools and equipment. Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, sketches and work orders to others. Understand and follow oral and written directions; communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Work independently with little direction. Meet schedules and timelines. Maintain routine records. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. Saw Operator Description Operate a forklift and overhead crane.   Physical Requirements While performing duties of this job, would occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls. This is an onsite, full-time role that is a core part of our maintenance team, supporting our manufacturing and production operations. Responsibilities Diagnose and Repair: You will diagnose, test, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment. PLC Troubleshooting: A key part of your role will be to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). You'll work with Allen-Bradley and Siemens systems, using the appropriate software (e.g., RSLogix, TIA Portal, Step 7) to identify and resolve logic, I/O, and communication issues. Troubleshoot and Inspect: You'll serve as a team member or leader to inspect and troubleshoot electrical and electronic malfunctions. Using instruments such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ammeters, you will test faulty equipment to identify the cause of the issue. Component Replacement: You will replace defective components and wiring, and adjust mechanical parts using both hand tools and soldering irons. Calibration and Maintenance: You'll align, adjust, and calibrate equipment according to specifications. You will also maintain detailed records of repairs, calibrations, and tests. Computer-Based Diagnostics: You will use computers to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade process control equipment and PLCs. Instruction and Collaboration: You may be required to instruct maintenance repair crews and collaborate with production teams for diagnostic and testing purposes. Requirements Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Experience: You must have a minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or an Associate's Degree in an electrical or mechanical-related curriculum.
