The Material Handler is responsible for safely moving material around the plant for production to run smoothly.  Work involves a high degree of alertness and concentration to completes tasks. Work related problems have known solutions but may require some cause-and-effect analysis and can be resolved by using prescribed methods and procedures.  Incumbents may not always control their work pace, and there is time sensitive to finish job tasks. perform multiple tasks throughout the day to ensure safe and quality production. Incumbents will be performing production tasks which may be in a PSM area and be exposed to adverse characteristics in the work environment. Intermediate blueprint reading skills. Ability to read blueprints and measurement gauges to inspect for part conformity. Basic math computation skills. Ability to understand and apply geometric concepts (e.g., angles and degrees) in making basic adjustments or setting up basic tooling and holding fixtures in the laser machines. Good organizational skills and ability to multi task (i.e., operate one machine while setting up another). We are looking for CDL drivers with 1+ years of experience for the 2025 Pistachio season in the Central Valley. We expect a 2 month season with day and night shifts available. Drivers will haul loads from a processing facility to local dairies and compost yards. All loads are loaded by shuttle operators and drivers are responsible for taking pre-loaded trailers from the processing plant to their delivery locations as loads are available. This is a fast paced work environment with plenty of loads to make. Drivers can expect to make $1,500/week and as much as $2,500/week depending on load volume.
