Description

Reform is seeking a motivated and results-driven Kitchen and Closet Designer to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will play a critical part in both the design and sales process, working closely with homeowners and trade clients to create beautiful, functional kitchen and closet spaces. Your ability to build strong relationships, drive sales, and expand our client base will be essential in achieving our mission to revolutionize the kitchen industry. As a Kitchen and Closet Designer, you will work directly with both new and existing clients, generate leads, and follow through to close sales. You will blend your creative design expertise with a customer-first sales approach to ensure client satisfaction and business growth. Responsibilities: Drive Sales: Lead the sales process by engaging with both homeowners and trade clients to understand their needs, and create custom kitchen and closet designs that meet their requirements. Client Outreach: Actively prospect new business by identifying potential clients, reaching out to leads, and nurturing relationships to convert them into long-term customers. Client Consultations: Provide consultations, present design proposals, and make adjustments based on client feedback, ensuring designs meet both aesthetic and functional needs. Manage Sales Pipeline: Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress from initial contact through to project completion. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the operations and project management teams to ensure a seamless transition from design to execution. Exceed Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the growth of the company. Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire design and sales process, ensuring high client satisfaction and repeat business. Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies to offer clients the best solutions and keep your designs fresh and relevant. Requirements Proven Sales Experience: A track record of success in a sales role, ideally in a design, construction, or home improvement industry. Experience in high-ticket sales and working with both trade and individual clients is a plus. Design Expertise: Strong knowledge of kitchen and closet design principles, materials, and finishes, with proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 2020. Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and close deals. Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively to achieve sales goals, while also thriving as part of a collaborative team. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Problem Solver: Ability to listen to clients' needs and offer creative solutions that balance design with functionality and budget. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software to track leads and sales, and proficiency with design tools and Microsoft Office. As a Community Outreach Liaison, you will generate leads and build strong relationships with families and local organizations.   What You'll Do    Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify, pursue, and grow relationships with prospective referral sources (e.g., pediatricians, school counselors, therapists, daycare directors, nonprofit leaders). Conduct outbound outreach through in-person visits, networking, cold introductions, and field drop-ins. Execute a consistent weekly prospecting plan to source new opportunities, support market share expansion, and build referral diversity. Qualify and document lead potential, partner alignment, and readiness for engagement.   Salesforce & Pipeline Management Log all outreach, visit notes, referrals, and contacts in Salesforce daily. Maintain complete visibility into referral status, outcomes, and lead aging across accounts. Own the integrity of your referral pipeline—including follow-up cadence, touchpoint tracking, and conversion insights. Collaborate with the Admissions and Sales Ops teams to resolve barriers to conversion and support funnel optimization. Territory Development Execute outreach strategies that align with assigned territory goals, visit coverage expectations, and market penetration priorities. Analyze referral patterns and territory performance to refine targeting efforts. Partner with Regional Sales Managers to identify underperforming pockets and high-growth zones. Event Strategy & Execution Plan and lead field events, education sessions, and outreach opportunities that directly support lead generation and awareness. Represent the organization at school fairs, health expos, nonprofit gatherings, and similar events with clear growth intent. Capture leads onsite, document contact data, and manage follow-up or handoff to internal teams. Must maintain a flexible schedule as the role may require early morning, evening or weekend availability for events.   Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with Growth, Marketing, and Admissions to ensure aligned messaging and effective lead handoffs. Submit regular outreach reports, territory updates, and event summaries. Participate in weekly sales calls, coaching check-ins, and training. Requirements The Business Development Representative requires a minimum of a High School diploma, bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field preferred and: Minimum 3 years of experience in field sales, outreach, or business development—preferably healthcare-related. Demonstrated ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and meet performance expectations. Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. The Role The Senior Vice President (SVP), Development is responsible for leading and expanding GMHC’s fundraising operations to meet current and future organizational goals. Reporting to the CFO, the SVP will oversee a growing development team and serve as a key strategic partner in achieving a five-year revenue growth plan—from $7 million annually to $12–$15 million. The SVP will lead a multi-channel fundraising strategy with a focus on special events, corporate partnerships, major gifts ($5,000+), planned giving, and foundation support. This is a highly visible leadership role that requires a blend of strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, donor engagement, and team management. Impact Areas Fundraising Strategy & Revenue Growth Design and lead a comprehensive development strategy to grow revenue from $7M to $10M and ultimately $12–15M within five years. Special Events & Donor Engagement Lead the vision and execution of high-impact fundraising events that drive both revenue and visibility. Major Gifts, Sponsorships & Planned Giving Cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and prospects, with a focus on five-, six-, and seven-figure gifts. Oversee a growing planned giving program and ensure effective strategies for long-term legacy support. Expand and deepen corporate and foundation partnerships, including event sponsorships and programmatic grants. Leadership & Team Development Supervise and support a dedicated development team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and inclusive work culture. Partner with the CFO, Executive Team and Board of Directors to elevate fundraising capabilities across the organization. Serve as a visible, engaged member of the executive leadership team. Requirements Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible fundraising leadership experience, ideally in a nonprofit organization with a national or regional footprint. Demonstrated success leading a complex special events portfolio; ideally having led seven-figure peer to peer portfolios.  Proven track record of securing and managing major gifts, event sponsorships, and planned gifts.
