We are having to rehome Skully, our sweet lovable snuggly 4.5 year old, 30 pound pocket pittie because our home currently has too many pets. Skully is an absolute sweetheart who has a lot of energy for playing, snuggling and eating! Skully is a dog who LOVES to play. She loves to carry logs thrice her size, play fetch, go on long walks. She loves to be loved, trap herself under the covers while you sleep all curled up next to you. Skully has a funny game where she throws a log down the stairs in the yard, runs and picks it up and does it over and over again! Wearing herself out. She also loves to balance toys on her snout and spin! Skully loves playing tug of war with humans or other dogs! Her favorite is definitely anything to do with a log though. Skully would thrive in a home with an active person who wants to play with her lots and give her walks. A home with another dog that she can play with would be awesome but is not necessary if she is given lots of love and play time. She would be best in a home with a yard, she has done great in an apartment with proper crate training, stim toys and lots of love and attention. Skully is house trained and was crate trained a year ago. She has lost her crate training due to moving in with my parents temporarily. I'm sure she would pick it back up very well however. Skully knows how to sit, lay down and her name. She struggles with separation anxiety, crate training helps with this greatly (especially with a blanket over the crate and a good chew). Skully does pull on leash and has mild reactivity but is very food motivated and has shown great improvements with short frequent training sessions. She has no medical issues or dietary restrictions. She is up to date on her shots and vaccines and is microchipped.
