This role will require critical contributions and support to quantum gravity and radiofrequency sensing solutions.  LOCATION  This position is a full-time position located in our Louisville, CO office JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  The duties and responsibilities outlined below include essential functions of the role. Depending on business needs, this role may perform a combination of some or all the following duties. Additional duties may also arise.  Work with internal teams and customers throughout multiple programs to develop and manage system architectures, subsystem functions, and interface requirements for quantum technology platforms—such as sensors, clocks, and control systems  Establish standardized system engineering practices and processes to support programs ranging from deep technology R&D to early product development  Work with team members across the company to refine and update our Product Lifecycle (PLC) policy and workflows to optimize efficiency and process value  Ensure uniform application of systems engineering tools (e.g. Jama) and methods across projects  For selected key R&D projects:  Define scope of internal PLC and associated list of deliverables  Support and track execution of tasks and deliverables through the phases of the PLC  Prepare and support gate reviews with project team  Provide systems engineering expertise for selected key projects  Create core systems engineering documents (requirements, interface control, architecture, test plans, etc.)  Work with multi-functional teams to maintain system configuration and documentation  Requirements Bachelor’s degree is required, with a focus in engineering, science, physics, or technology field preferred  5+ years of relevant and progressive experience in a similar role, with demonstrated systems engineering experience  Experience with productization and Product Life Cycle processes  Demonstrated ability to sufficiently learn the technical details of complex hardware and software systems development to be able to successfully drive processes and procedures for integration, testing, and qualification  Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with all levels of an organization; Professional-level communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills  Demonstrated ability to work comfortably in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, team-oriented, and matrixed environment  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS  Master’s degree in engineering, science, physics, or technology field  Experience in advanced technologies and high technology products, especially products that include a combination of mechanical, electrical, RF, optics, and software  Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
