We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer with expertise in DevSecOps to strengthen cloud and infrastructure security across a fast-growing technology environment. This role offers the opportunity to implement cutting-edge security practices, embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines, and lead initiatives in infrastructure-as-code and runtime protection. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient systems, while monitoring for vulnerabilities and driving continuous security improvements. The role allows for significant ownership over security architecture, proactive threat mitigation, and automation of security processes, all within a dynamic, inclusive, and innovative environment. Remote work flexibility is available, with preference for candidates in Georgia. Accountabilities · Manage and maintain edge and bot protection systems, including WAF, CDN, and DDoS mitigation. · Conduct security-focused infrastructure and architecture reviews for new releases and product updates. · Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting tools for cloud and container security. · Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to integrate security seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines. · Lead initiatives around infrastructure-as-code (IaC) security, runtime protection, and automation of security controls. · Assist with threat modeling, risk assessments, and provide guidance throughout the software development lifecycle. · Partner with incident response teams to address cloud-related security incidents efficiently. · Track and report on key DevSecOps KPIs, including remediation times, coverage of security controls, and vulnerability trends. Requirements · 3–5 years of experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, or a similar role. · Strong expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS). · Experience with cloud and container security tooling, including IaC tools (Terraform, OpenTofu, Helm). · Knowledge of WAFs, bot mitigation, API gateways, and CDN security features. · Proven experience performing secure design and architecture reviews. · Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD). · Solid understanding of networking principles (VPCs, load balancing, firewalls) in cloud environments. · Knowledge of database management (SQL and NoSQL) is a plus. · Relevant certifications (e.g., Kubernetes and Cloud Native Security Associate, AWS Certified Security Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer) are advantageous.
