Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) is on the lookout for a Senior Container Platform System Engineer/Administrator to enhance the modernization, maintenance, and operational readiness of the CAOC-X platform and related activities. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead engineering and administrative initiatives aimed at establishing and overseeing a secure cloud-native container ecosystem, ensuring robust support for AOC WS formal tests and diverse CAOC-X operations. Requirements Lead the implementation, configuration, and administration of cloud container platforms supporting CAOC-X test and operational environments. Translate high-level development strategies into actionable system requirements in coordination with multi-disciplinary engineering teams. Develop and maintain Engineering Plans and Annex K documentation for AOC WS formal tests and other CAOC-X events. Participate in system conceptual design and lead design reviews to ensure system compliance and requirement traceability. Perform system integration and troubleshooting across hardware, software, network, and containerized environments. Install, load, and configure enterprise systems, networks, and storage for container platforms. Maintain and administer container-based systems, including Kubernetes clusters, Docker environments, and Rancher deployments. Provide system administration for all aspects of CAOC-X operations, including account management, access controls, and service configurations. Monitor network and system performance, establish backup solutions, and enforce site security. Support efforts to obtain and maintain system Authority to Operate (ATO) and Authority to Connect (ATC). Collaborate with test and event teams to ensure system functionality during test execution and experimentation. Technical Expertise Required: In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes (pods, deployments, services, storage) and Docker containerization. Experience with Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE). Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems. Familiarity with ACAS, HBSS, and DoD cybersecurity controls. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps methodologies. Knowledge of system security engineering and accreditation processes.
