Senior Petroleum Service Technician- Columbia, MO

As a Senior Petroleum Service Technician, you'll be responsible for set-up, servicing, maintaining, diagnosing issues, and repairing petroleum dispensing and ancillary equipment at Casey's stores in the Columbia area. Key Responsibilities include: - Maintains and repairs fuel dispensers; submersible fuel pumps, site controllers, credit card readers. - Diagnose equipment problems, using judgement to determine how to repair or replace tank & line monitoring equipment. - Repair and maintain other types of equipment found in Casey’s convenience stores. - Repair and maintain equipment and building electrical wiring, plumbing, and fuel devices. - Use instruments to test and evaluate performance of equipment; repair or replace defective valves, electrical boards, and other parts. - Understand and comply with applicable fire safety, OSHA and EPA rules and regulations. - Perform break fix and preventative maintenance on service station electronics, computers, and the fuel dispensing systems, including electronic, plumbing, and mechanical work. - Provide quality customer service that exceeds customer expectation by ensuring that all assigned duties are completed in a cost-effective manner. Requirements - High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in service technician or related role. - Certified to work on petroleum equipment for two major manufacturing companies, or ability to obtain certifications within 3 months of hire date. - Knowledge of tools and equipment used in building and mechanical trades work. - Prior experience with installing and repairing electrical systems, plumbing and refrigeration equipment and parts preferred. - Travel with overnight stays required 20% to 40% of the time. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have the physical ability to drive a vehicle for job related travel.
