Job Description: Facilities Management seeks a Filter Servicer. This entry-level position will inspect, maintain or replace air filters on heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) equipment. Essential Duties: Inspect air filters on HVAC equipment to determine if maintenance is required. Clean, oil, or replace air filters. Recommend upgrade of air filters for efficiency. Schedule maintenance on air filters. Read gauges and instruments and adjust mechanisms. Maintain records of maintenance on air filters. Use ability to clearly communicate to perform essential functions. DAYS AND SCHEDULE: Tuesday - Friday 6:30AM-5:00PM Hourly Wage: $20.00 per hour. Climb stairs, ladders, ladder wells, and stairs. Work off ladders to include working off lift platforms and boom trucks at heights above six feet. Activities performed in a variety of interior and exterior settings involving restricted movement, low lighting, dirty environmental conditions, air contamination, extreme temperatures, and intense noise. May be exposed to hazardous and dangerous materials, tools, and equipment which will require safety precautions and/or specific process to be followed, and may include the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) (e.g. safety glasses, hearing protection, negative pressure and positive pressure respirator). Use of PPE may require medical clearance prior to use. Regular use of air compressor, shop or central vacuum, or water source. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting over 50 pounds and pulling up to 100 pounds. Drive University vehicles and/or carts.
