Security Alarm Service Technicians and Installers (Los Angeles)

JMG SECURITY SYSTEMS, INC., the premier fire and security Systems Company in Southern California, has an exciting opportunity for Service Technicians and Installers in the Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley area. JMG installs and services fire, burglar, CCTV, and card access systems in medium to large, commercial, industrial and retail businesses, as well as selected residential clients. Under general supervision from the Vice President of Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for the proper and timely service of all systems installed and/or monitored by JMG (www.jmgsecurity.com). As a field representative, the Service Technician is responsible for a thorough understanding of applicable codes and how they pertain to the proper operation of residential security, commercial security and life/safety systems. In addition, they will also be the liaison between JMG and the customer, responsible for providing customer care that exceeds the customer’s expectations and meets the company standards of performance and professionalism. We can Offer: **Celebrating 37 Years of Service **Competitive Compensation Package **Comprehensive Benefits **Training **Company Vehicle **Promotional Opportunities Requirements: • Excellent customer service and communication skills • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid driver's license and clear driving record • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the security and fire alarm industry in an installation or service environment is preferred • Must successfully apply or possess an Alarm Company Employee (ACE) registration card issued through California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services. • Must possess or be working toward completion of the State of California DIR - Fire & Life Safety License. • Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly/frequently required to use hands to finger dexterity, handle or feel objects, push or pull objects, equipment or controls. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. and work at heights up to 75 feet. Must be able to drive, sit, stand, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance.
