Join our team as a Vehicle Technician and become a frontline technical expert in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a cutting-edge fleet of autonomous vehicles (AVs). In this role, you’ll work hands-on with advanced automotive systems and AV-specific hardware—ensuring our vehicles remain safe, reliable, and deployment-ready. We’re looking for a technician with strong automotive expertise, a passion for emerging technology, and experience across mechanical, electrical, and computer-based systems. You’ll collaborate with engineering, operations, and remote support teams to keep the fleet mission-ready and on the road. What You’ll Do Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and scheduled maintenance on AVs, including ADAS sensors and core vehicle systems. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and computer-based issues using OEM tools and proprietary diagnostic platforms. Respond quickly to vehicle faults or alerts, resolving issues or coordinating recovery efforts. Support hardware and software retrofits, updates, and sensor calibrations in collaboration with engineering. Document all work, including fault logs, resolutions, and vehicle downtime. Prepare vehicles for demos, testing, and deployment—ensuring they’re always show-ready. Maintain a strong safety culture by following established procedures, risk assessments, and OSHA-equivalent standards. Provide on-site support and assist with field operations when needed. Requirements What We’re Looking For 3–5+ years of automotive technician experience, or equivalent vocational/technical training. Strong background in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems (CAN bus, HV systems, sensors). Familiarity with EVs, hybrid drive systems, and high-voltage safety procedures. Experience with AV-specific hardware such as LiDAR, radar, cameras, and embedded modules. ASE or OEM technician certifications (preferred). Exposure to Linux-based systems, sensor calibration, or R&D fleet environments a plus. Proficient with diagnostic software, Google Suite, JIRA, and database logging tools. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and operations teams. A safety-first mindset with strong knowledge of industry health and safety standards. Benefits Work schedule: Weds-Sunday Shift AM - 5AM-2PM or Weds-Sunday Shift PM - 2pm-10PM Pay Rate: $40 - $45 per hour
