Ensure medication consents are in place and updated as needed, administer medications per physician orders, monitor usage, document effectiveness and any side effects, and provide medication education and screening for consumers as needed. Assist in the discharge planning process, including ensuring medication refills are provided. Maintain records of medication samples and OTC medications, including administration tracking; process daily medication refill requests; and monitor, replenish, and conduct monthly audits of first aid kits to ensure compliance. Document and submit all incident and restraint reports in compliance with clinic policies.
