Leading on subject-matter review and quality assurance of intelligence outputs for the Seerist platform. Contribute to Seerist platform content as required and appropriate based on other workload. Demonstrate strong understanding of the geopolitical, technological, economic and social drivers of cyber threats to produce forward looking intelligence product. Marketing and business development Contribute to business development activity including through scoping, drafting proposals / capability statements, pricing and delivery of consulting engagements. Produce marketing materials and public-facing assessments designed to demonstrate CTI capability and subject matter expertise. Responsible for liaising with senior team members in CTI, Digital Risks and other internal teams to highlight key threat developments and reports to be shared with clients and prospects. Brief specific clients and external audiences in closed and public format presentations on a range of cyber threat and technology-related topics. General analytical responsibilities Responsible for developing, maintaining and demonstrating strong subject matter expertise in cyber threat actors, computer network operations, electronic warfare, and geopolitics through attendance at conferences, industry events and constant research. Actively contribute to the team’s thought leadership and key analytical lines by proactively identifying new trends and developments. Requirements Educated to degree level or several years work experience in an intelligence, cyber security or social science field (Military, Terrorism, Politics, International Relations, Intelligence Studies). Highly motivated and ambitious individual with ability to self-task and develop own research. Practical knowledge and understanding of cyber security concepts and mitigation methods. Practical demonstrable experience in the field of intelligence production, analysis, and review. Ability to present technical information and analysis to a non-technical audience. Experience presenting to senior stakeholders with an ability to adapt style and content to the experience and knowledge of the audience. Demonstrable experience in the field of cyber threat intelligence, cyber security and / or geopolitics through academic or professional engagement preferred. Understanding of both qualitative and quantitative analytical tools and techniques preferred. Intelligence analysis (CREST, NIAT, GIAT, DIAM, City and Guilds), CTI (CRTIA, CPTIA or CCTIM) or cyber security (CISSP, CISM, CEH, CLASS) qualifications are highly desirable but not essential. Experience using MS SharePoint tooling, including PowerBI and PowerAutomate preferred. Knowledge of additional non-English language is preferred. This resource will be supporting some of the general DBA work and project work. For the vulnerability project, they will be supporting patching, working with multiple teams on vulnerability scans and remediation. They will be given a spreadsheet of vulnerabilities, ranked and will sort through using analysis to figure out what servers are impacted by the same vulnerability. From there, they will coordinate testing and work to ensure it is remediated. They might be working on 20-30 vulnerabilities at a time. They will work with the patching team to remediate vulnerabilities or perform SQL scripting to remediate themselves depending on the issue. They will work closely with developers as well to explain any database issues and work to get them resolved. Separate from vulnerability projects, the DBA could be asked to participate in other DBA related project meetings including on-call and after-hours work.
