Description

As a Student BCBA, you’ll receive hands-on training under the supervision of experienced BCBAs. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in real-world settings, work directly with clients, and build essential clinical and analytical skills. You'll help implement evidence-based interventions, collect and interpret data, and collaborate with your supervisor to deliver meaningful, high-quality services. This position is designed to equip you with the tools and experience needed to smoothly transition into a full-time BCBA role upon program completion. PLEASE NOTE- Our Case Hours are from 3pm-8pm(After School Hours+ Weekends) Key Responsibilities: Implement evidence-based interventions and collect data Analyze data and collaborate with your supervising BCBA to provide high-quality services Receive mentorship to develop clinical skills and transition into a full-time BCBA role Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and manage case responsibilities Participate in regular supervision and feedback sessions Program Benefits: Paid Experience: $25+ per hour Close Mentorship: Guidance from experienced BCBAs to foster professional growth Practical Skills: Hands-on experience in assessments, reporting, and treatment planning Clear Career Path: Opportunity to transition into a full-time BCBA position upon program completion Professional Development: Access to team collaboration and continuous learning opportunities Requirements: Enrollment in a verified course sequence (VCS) for BCBA/NYS LBA certification Strong understanding of ABA principles and a willingness to learn Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with supervisors and team members Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines Commitment to at least 30 hours per week, including: 15+ hours of direct client work Remaining hours for supervised indirect tasks (per BACB guidelines) Ability to follow BCBA recommendations and adapt based on feedback
