Connelly School of the Holy Child is excited to announce an opportunity for a creative and passionate individual to join our Development Team for a day, ash they facilitate a Visual Arts project at our Mayfield Market Event on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 8 am - 12 pm. This special event focuses on fostering creativity and holiday spirit through engaging arts and craft activities for the children who attend Mayfield Market. The Stipend for these 4 hours is $250. Responsibilities: Design and lead hands-on visual arts and craft workshop(s) for children so they can leave the event with a keepsake. Instruct participants on various techniques and mediums, including painting, drawing, and crafting seasonal decorations. Facilitate a fun and creative environment that encourages self-expression and collaboration among participants. Assist with the setup and organization of the art and craft area during the event. Work closely with the Development Team to ensure a seamless event is experience for our young guests. Provide guidance and encouragement to students, fostering a love of art and creativity. Engage with parents and community members regarding the holiday project. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Art, Art Education, or a related field preferred. Experience teaching or leading art and craft activities, especially with children. Strong knowledge of various art techniques and craft materials. Ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to collaborate with other teachers and staff members. CDL Truck Driver – Local Route (Food Waste Collection) $28/hour starting wage | Path to Worker-Ownership | Weekdays 5:00 AM–12:00 PM CERO Cooperative, Inc., a Boston-based, worker-owned cooperative, is seeking a responsible, professional CDL truck driver to join our growing organic waste collection team. Compensation & Schedule Starting Pay: $28/hour After 6 Months: Increase to $30/hour Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM Hours: 35–40 hours per week Pay Frequency: Biweekly Worker-Ownership: Eligible after initial period Responsibilities Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections (fluids, tires, safety equipment, etc.) Follow designated routes using the routing app or as assigned by the operations manager Safely operate a garbage truck to collect source-separated organic waste Load and unload totes and containers (must be able to lift/push/pull over 100 lbs) Operate hydraulic hand controls for lifting and disposal at designated facilities Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor with customers Adhere to company policies and all local, state, and federal driving laws Complete route logs and other reports as required Perform preventative maintenance and report issues promptly Qualifications Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of commercial driving experience Familiarity with GPS, routing apps, and service logs Clean driving record and understanding of DOT regulations Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Basic mechanical knowledge for inspections and troubleshooting Waste collection experience is a plus, but not required. What the Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician role looks like: Perform onsite scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow up repairs to Class 6-8 trucks in a mobile/field environment.  Perform Emergency Road Service Calls.  Respond to call center dispatched scheduled and unscheduled service and maintenance requests.  Diagnose and repair various types of truck equipment including, but not limited to the following: Electrical/Brake/Cooling Systems, Starters/Alternators, Air conditioning systems, Fan clutches, Engine electronics, Power steering systems, Engines (gas and diesel), Transmissions (manual and automatic), Clutches, Differentials, etc.  Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers and pressure gauges.  Use basic hand tools, precision instruments, as well as power tools, welding equipment, and jacks.  Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly.  Maintain a high level of productivity and be able to work within or close to most standard repair times.  Obtain parts from approved local and national vendors as necessary for the repairs to be performed.  Maintain company issued service truck, conduct safety checks and pre/post trip inspections.  Perform other duties as assigned. What our ideal candidate looks like: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Diesel Technician on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.  Proficiency in DOT inspections and air brake repairs.  Excellent verbal communication skills.
