The Project Control Analyst I is responsible for supporting the development and execution of project and functional planning by maintaining and monitoring performance baselines within the company’s approved processes for performance baselines, change control, performance analysis, and estimate at completion (EAC) development. Major Responsibilities/Scope of Work 1. Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by following established safe work practices and procedures; including following all safety rules, use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE), investigating and reporting identified safety concerns or situations. 2. Adhere to standards contained in the Company “Code of Conduct,” Company EEO practices, and DOE directives. 3. Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, and track expenses against the budget. 4. Identify and investigate project schedule variance and work with managers to implement corrective actions. 5. Collect data, update, and produce scheduling reports. 6. Assist in the development and maintenance of work breakdown structures (WBS). 7. Review and understand engineering, procurement, decontamination/decommissioning schedule logic, and understand Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling. 8. Assist in assembling data for schedule updating. 9. Assist in the measurement of project schedule progress. 10. Develop knowledge of scope control, change management, and earned value methodology. 11. Support data gathering and produce an initial analysis for schedule baseline development and maintenance data gathering. 12. Support managers and customers to develop a statement of work (WBS, Dictionary, objectives, assumptions, and deliverables), resource estimate, and a baseline schedule for the project with consideration of contract mods and change proposals. 13. Apply standard cost and scheduling data to department programs and systems. 14. Assist in the preparation of project management briefings. 15. Ensure all training and qualifications are up to date, attend educational workshops, and participate in professional societies. Essential Functions 1. Use judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines, references, and procedures. 2. Follow detailed written and verbal instructions from management to perform assigned task according to established procedures. 3. Execute a limited scope of specific project analyst practices affecting the accuracy, reliability, or acceptability of further processes or services. 4. Interface with employees in the department, project team members, managers, and customers. 5. Plan, coordinate, or advise on work efforts and resolve problems toward mutuals goals. Requirements A. Education/Experience: • BA/BS in business, construction management, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to occupation. B.
