JOB TITLE: Production Technician Lv II SUMMARY:   Production Technicians are responsible for inspecting, processing, cleaning, and testing parts and assemblies received from high-tech manufacturing customers.  Technicians are required to complete training, understand, and follow written procedures and demonstrate ability to inspect, disassemble, clean/refurbish, reassemble, test and package customer parts and equipment in a critically controlled cleanroom work environment.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Strictly adhere to all site safety, quality, and company HR conduct policies and protocols.  Read and follow written work instructions and procedures, assuring that each step is completed and annotated when finished.  Use all required safety equipment including hearing protection, safety glasses or face shields, respirators, and chemical process PPE.  Handle potentially hazardous materials according to appropriate manufacturing and safety procedures.  Complete assigned tasks using a combination of cleaning techniques including use of hand and power tools, mechanical cleaning, and chemical cleaning equipment.  Assist in maintaining processing equipment in good working condition.   Perform and complete assigned tasks in a cleanroom work environment while adhering to required cleanroom garments and PPE and quality protocols.  Support inventory management to ensure proper stocking levels are maintained.  Ensure the work area, equipment and tools are clean and properly maintained.  Requirements ​  Operations Technician Job Requirements   Ability to read English and follow technical procedures and instructions.  Ability to pass required drug screening and background check  Minimum of a high school diploma or GED  This is a safety sensitive position; the ability to maintain the appropriate standards is required.  Ability to work a compressed work week:  BE shift NIGHTS- 6:00pm to 6:00am (Alternating Wed and Thu-Fri-Sat) plus OT  COMPETENCIES:  Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time.  Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.  Ethics - Treats people with respect; Keeps commitments; Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values.  Motivation - Sets and achieves challenging goals; Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles; Measures self against standard of excellence; Takes calculated risks to accomplish goals.  Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings.  Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.  Professionalism - Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments.  Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.  Quantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly.  Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly. Construction Inspector Jr. (NASA)
Description: 1. Provide episodic on-site surveillance, field inspection, and construction inspection services as directed for NASA managed construction projects for conformance to technical requirements, design drawings, schedule, and specifications and report any violations. 2. Provide specialized experience in various construction disciplines including structural, electrical, civil, mechanical, architectural, roofing, fire detection and suppression, and welding. 3. Document and report field inspection findings regularly. 4. Coordinate with the NASA Construction Safety Point of Contact (SPOC) and the NASA Environmental POC on upcoming field activities. 5. Assist in the coordination of construction, installation, and testing problems encountered. 6. Assist in the coordination and execution of pre-final and final inspection of the contractor’s work. 7. Participate in various meetings to be held between NASA, NASA construction contractors, and others, including, but not limited to project site walkdowns, construction meetings prior to and during construction phase, and project status meetings, as required. 8. Track deliverables and submittals and communicate issues. 9. Collect information and provide observations and support RFIs, changes, and adjustments. 10. Ensure that the construction contractor complies with the defined SOW or specifications included in the contract. 11. Verify that project implementation complies with approved shop drawing submittals. 12. Verify and validate correct implementation of project associated requests for information (RFIs). 13. Inspect delivered materials and verify their conformance with contract documents and approved submittals, as required. 14. Support in verifying work completion to support invoice payments. 15. Provide a quality check of final marked drawings submitted by the construction contractor to verify that all changes made during construction have been recorded. 16. Assist with Activation and Turnover tasks to include proper processing, witnessing of system acceptance testing of protective systems, and completion of system documentation. Electrical Engineer JR. (NASA)
Description: 1. Perform electrical system design and performance analyses for facility and infrastructure projects across the Center. 2. Provide Low-Voltage and Medium-Voltage (e.g. 480V to 15 kV) design capability, providing specifications and designs utilizing the most recent versions of computer aided design software such as MicroStation® or AutoCAD®. 3. Support designs associated with new installations or modification of industrial power systems distribution. 4. Support power substation and switchgear design and testing. Familiarity with power systems relays for protection, control, monitoring, and automation of industrial power is preferred. 5. Perform Arc Flash studies for facility and infrastructure projects. 6. Provide Low-Voltage and Medium-Voltage power system short circuit and Arc Flash studies, and load flow studies utilizing government provided software, i.e., Electrical Transient Analyzer Program (ETAP)® Power Tools. 7. Maintain proficiency and certified training levels to utilize power system analytical tools, i.e., ETAP® Power Tools and certifications. 8. Perform oversight of the design and construction of electrical power distribution systems at the Medium-Voltage and Low-Voltage levels, lightning protection systems, and other electrical systems. Includes verifying compliance with applicable NFPA codes to include NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NFPA 780 (Standard for the Installation of Lightning Protection Systems) as well as NASA and KSC electrical standards. 9. Maintain proficiency with all applicable NFPA codes. Familiarity with NASA and KSC electrical standards is preferred Requirements Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 4 years' experience in electrical engineering. Professional Engineering license preferred.
